We have received reports from Alberta Health Services of a wastewater spill in the Cochrane area of the Bow River. The exact nature and impact of the spill has yet to be determined, but all relevant authorities are involved.
Corix Utilities operating personnel are monitoring the situation. There is no impact to Heritage Pointe water intake currently, and the Heritage Pointe water treatment system has ample filtration and disinfection measures in place to provide safe, reliable water to the Heritage Pointe community.
